Our Driver Safety Solution
Cellocator’s entry-level devices (CR family) can be programmed to measure severe driver actions and provide both in-cabin real-time alerts to the driver and the logging of such events and their severity, which can be sent to the backend and fleet manager.
Such events include harsh acceleration, braking, exceeding pre-defined speed limits, and more. The in-cabin alert can be visual (through the installation of a LED), audible (by installing a buzzer), or both.
Our advanced devices (Cello IQ and CANiQ families) have more advanced embedded algorithms designed not to only alert the driver and fleet manager, but to provide specific visual and audible messages to the driver with the precise fault they are committing in real-time. The system will recommend corrective action and will also score the specific maneuver. This is achieved with a complementary accessory of our Cello family called the DFD (Driver Feedback Device). Among the reported events, you can find harsh accelerations, braking and speeding through bends, over speeding events, and more.
There is also the possibility to generate and manage additional data from the vehicle and CAN bus. Such data may include seatbelt status, door status, and other safety events.
